I’ve tried cutting off and rethreading the stainless rods in the past, with poor results. Ended up taking a pair to a machinist for a $$, he did them right.
Just can’t imagine why you can’t find...

Radiator support rods question

So I see all these replacement stainless steel radiator rods advertised as 33 inches long. When I measure my 35 radiator to firewall with radiator at the correct angle the rod should only be 29...

Or, you could run the tie rod through the wishbone!

As for the hose sizes, napa sells adapters which are short hoses to change the inside diameter of a hose that you’re using.

I don’t think 35s had a banjo wheel option. Boy I wish I had one of those grilles hanging there. Sure look a lot nicer than mine.

Dealers are getting worse that parts houses, they wonít stock anything after a certain year. Around ten years old forget it.

Sometimes the parts are there, but the kid behind the counter has no idea what a 12volt externally resisted coil is, unless the computer shows him a part number.

You know they had a smoke machine in the trunk pointed at the tire from a hole in the wheel well.
But still a really cool scene, especially for a young kid (me), watching that movie.

Wow, $49.50 installed! Of course in the height of the depression, that was a lot of money.
Interesting for them to say the Ford is the only V8 under $2500 I would think a 1934 Ford was much lower...

A couple I wished I had from the start.the valve removal tools are my favorite. Hub puller is a copy, but works very well.
Trying to post pic of a nice to have tool, a pair of spark plug wire...

Polished Evans 2 x 2 intake manifold 1932 to 48

Original Evans manifold that has been polished, no damage, no broken studs, there are two additional holes for vacuum ports on the carburetor risers, these may be factory as I have seen many others...

1932 tail light stands, aftermarket

My 35 coupe actually has a 41 rear bumper on it. Looks good, but needs restoration.
