Re: What color is my car ?

You may want to look underneath the dash panel or the back side of the panel. I found the original color of my huckster under the panel.

Re: carb stall

Another thought from someone not knowing anything about Marvel carbs, but how soon does the rig quit? Is it just as you start to turn or after you are into the turn awhile? If it was just at the...

Re: 31 steering wheels, painted or not?

I bought a new one for my 1929 huckster. They all said it should be painted. I did not pant it and it still looks great 10 years later.

Re: GAV Setting

Like mentioned above, each of my cars run with different GAV settings with the carbs I have on them now. In the last few months I have rebuilt a few carbs. After testing them on my A, I find that...

Re: fuel cutoff valve

My huckster will fire up easy but still needs a bit of the choke. The coupe needs to crank over a bit with choke out before it thinks about starting.

Hey, I can toot my horn again!!!!! (that is the huckster's horn)

What I finally found, with the help of you all, is that there was a loose connection on an extended piece of wire, I put on the...

Re: Can't toot my horn!

I did what Chuck mentioned above, that is scrub the horn clips. Also put some stuff on them I use to get my ball on my trailer to connect up when pulling it. Still no horn tooting.

So to...

Re: Can't toot my horn!

Will have to give that a try. Thanks. Something like this could be the problem, because it did work awhile back. But this is old rainy Oregon!

Can't toot my horn!

No it is my 29 Huckster's horn that is not tooting.

Just a few comments about it's situation:

1. Use to toot OK when the motor was reved up.
2. Now does not do anything-will not even show...

Re: 1929 tire questions

I use Firestone whitewalls on both of my 1929's. The seem to work OK. Don't think they are nylon.
