Lincoln Bomb sight wheel balancer

Does anyone out there have instructions for a Lincoln Bomb Sight Model 7471 wheel balancer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem, and it was the diaphragm pump. I went back to the vane pump and my problems went away. Both were Carter pumps sold by NAPA.

The pilot bearing is a press fit to the flywheel, but not a press fit to the input shaft of the transmission. If it was you would not be able to install the transmission.

It seems that a broken fuel line will dump fuel to the engine compartment no matter if you have a fuel pump or not. That being said, I wire mine like Jim Cannon describes in post 2.

Do you mean "cutting the drums"? I see no reason to cut the hubs. sometimes cast iron drums can get quite hard if they are overheated.

The original stanchions were stainless. The cups were steel. Liners were stainless and spot welded in a few places to keep them in.

Sorry Bob, I meant 7/16-20. The problem is my screw holding the sub stanchion is 3/8 nf. Again..Should I drill and tap to 7/16 -20.

Yes Bob, that is the mirror I have, but with a 11/16 -20 thread on the mirror, I cannot thread it into my stanchion screw which is 3/8 nf thread. Do I have to redrill and tap the stanchion ram horn...

The Horn does not ground on the headlight bar. The ground is supplied through the horn button. Hot is always connected to the horn.

ppm is parts per million. 2 ppm increase in Sodium is within experimental error, but 40 ppm is significant, especially if the IR scan indicates glycol.
