Re: Putting oil in distributor shaft.

when you have the distributor out and after you pour some oil down the hole. smear a bunch of grease in the hole and on the shaft. it will help keeping the rust from forming.

Yes it is, that is the best place under the rear. the front put the jack under the center of the axle.

Smooth one
that is NOT the rubber seal on a 68B. that rubber is glass setting rubber for the slant window bodies door glass.

the rear bumper brackets for the Victoria only fit the Victoria and the A400 brackets only fit the A400, a lot of the rear brackets are the same as the two but the stand off`s are is in a different...

what four blade fan do you have ? some of the ones that the fan is bolted to the hub. make it easy. if it is riveted the radiator need to come out.

no one that I know of makes the correct replacement rubbers. the 68A`s & B`s use the same ones as the Briggs four door front doors. they do sell the whole replacements but the retainers are aluminum...

where are you located. there should be someone close by that have what you need. I just through five torque tubes in the scrap pile. the question is how are you going to remove the bearing.

is there two screws in the top of the bracket. it is hard to tell in your picture. the bracket it self should not need to be removed to install the rubber bumper. the screws are install from the top...

I had to take another look and I see now you have the rubber bumper under the bracket they should be on the top. where you have them it will not hit the lid.

they are on correct. when you open your rumble lid they should stop it. are they not hitting the lid, some of the after market stops don`t fit worth a s--t.
