Joe, are you able to gain any access to the latch mechanism through the lock hole? If the handle won't turn, sounds like something jammed when the lid slammed shut?

Agree taking the backwall out...

Light is operated by a push/pull switch on the dash. ...

ronn, I checked their website and Fastenal is still shipping, but on a reduced service area basis re: Covid. The site allows you to check the "from and to" zip codes to see if they are an option.

Idiot Boy here!! Pulled engine and trans from'47 and rebuilt both. So, no mystery with mating spline. Wouldn't go together.....tried for hours.....forced it and bent fingers on pressure plate. ...

Bob, Fastenal (not sure of spelling) used to have a shipping process for the load you've described. You would put the pieces of the bed on a pallet and secure with ratchet straps and their shipping...

As tubman said above, don't rely on your charger. Disconnect charger and measure voltage with your meter. Betting your Optima is still good!!....they are an amazing battery!!

David, certainly agree with you, re the mirrors. Right side is decoration only....totally worthless. So, got a windwing mirror...part#A17700WW in Mac's catalog and mounted on the crank out vent...

Gary, had absolutely the same experience! Rotor, Cap, and Bubba dist. all checked out, but couldn't get rid of intermittent miss. Changed my "lovely" Belden blue carbon cores for solid...

I'm really ignorant here on block cracks....had the machine shop drill, pin, weld, and sleeve the only cracked block I've owned...so far!!
