My pickup did not come with the wiper the one I found had a short shaft so I welded a length of rod to make it serviceable possible you could locate the bracket on a junked out windshield frame

On my ccpu 1929 it came with a manual wiper.The windshield frame has a tube rivited to it that the wiper shaft goes through.

I ran it for at least 25 min.funny you should mention the muffler it has been on the truck for at least 40 years only the tip of the tailpipe rotted off!

My wolf whistle that is 30 plus years old quit I removed the clip that holds the whistle part to the housing removed the whistle and cleaned it up with WD40 now good as new.
