Re: Heater temperature control valve 302 engine

So the valve should go into the pressure side right? If this is the case then the NAPA guy was right because my valve is currently in the water pump hose. This would put hot water into the heater...

Heater temperature control valve 302 engine

My avatar has a 1971 302 engine. The car has the original heater. The heater control valve doesn't shut off completely. The NAPA parts man THINKS the current valve is installed on the wrong heater...

Re: What are the must haves for you're shop?

Lots of lighting. When you think you have enough, add more. Put the lighting on different circuits so you can have on only the ones you need. I have separate switches for different areas of the shop...

Re: Blow out

I am with you on this. Taking a chance on an accident or worse is not worth saving a few bucks. I had a tire weight go through my pickup tire last week so I replaced the tire-not worth the chance in...

Re: Different firing order for 302 ci engine

40 coupe is correct. The early 302's(non HO motors) have a firing order of 15426378 and the HO and 351's have a firing order of 13726548. So there are two different firing orders for the 302 based...

Re: 1955 ford Ranchwagon/ pitman arm shaft seal.

My avatar has a 302 in it. It has a 6 blade flex fan that is half inch from the radiator and no shroud. It will run all day at 180 regardless of the ambient temp. Maybe lucky but I will take it......

Re: '50 Ford Coupe Trunk Hinge Pads

I need to issue an apology to Dennis Carpenter. The pads and seal was from another vendor but they WERE sourced from DC from that other vendor. Regardless they still failed to make it for one year!!
