Re: Can anybody here cut keys?

Suggest you go into site entitled 'model a ford garage' where you may find general information about the variety of keys (shapes, milling, etc.) made for A's.

The A1100 & 1127 #'s should steer you...

Re: Help me identify engine noise?

Consider the distributor shaft may be thirsty. Mine was. Your description of noise sounds similar. Lube took care of it.

Re: 1930 Body Production

If you poke around various "Model A" websites, you'll find several with scores of detailed statistics in which you may come upon specific numbers you're searching for.

Re: Epping NH New England Dragway Auto Swap Meet

As stated by Joe and Keith above, it was very different from other flea market events I've experienced at the dragway during the last couple years. Essentially, there was nothing to look at. I walked...

Re: Epping NH New England Dragway Auto Swap Meet

Recommend wet ground footwear for tomorrow.
Areas near entrance and parking could be wet following recent rains.
Vendors areas, for the most part, are relatively dry.

Re: oil springs?

Only my opinion, but an occasional touch of oil on leaf springs keeps them happy and healthy..

Re: Reproduction rear spare tire bracket

Try a welding shop. A welder / fabricator can bring it back to original if you cannot find one.

Re: Water Temperature Gauge

Don't fight the brazing / welding process.
Can be purchased from Mac's (Ecklers) Model A parts catalog for about $20.
Think you could find same in Bratton's or Tam's as well.

Re: Battery keeps depleting

Don't give up until you find the culprit, but also consider installing a good quality battery kill switch to isolate it when the car is shut down.
