John, if you want a stock aluminum looking finish, check out the silver that the Harley Davidson Dealer sells. when its dry it looks like fresh glass beaded aluminum.

Tim, i have a 59L that was bored to 3 7/16 i have had no problems with it. It was originally built in 1960, all that i did to it was hone the cylinders, and put a set of rings in it.

Look at the crank pulley, on the French flat head, its what your looking for, and will work on the 8BA.

Darrel, you don’t owe me anything, i will get the strips in the mail this week. The cam only needs to be ground down 1/32 or so, i used a 90 degree air tool, but make sure you remove the correct...

Thanks, it was a fun project, the articles and photos Dean Moon did made this something a kid could have built in his auto shop class, for his hot rod.

After reading all the other post on the ignition, and a Good Friend gave me a really nice stock Lincoln distributor to work with, i wanted to build one. I bought the three 1954 car craft magazines...
