Just took off manifolds and found blown gasket on #2 exhaust. time to call Mikes...Thanks, J.D.

Thank you for the replies. I did not use the gasket because it fell apart and was discarded . I did get a good seal on the clamp on manifold but still got the noise and was asking if exhaust manifold...

Suddenly the A developed a loud exhaust noise coming from the manifold area so I order a new muffler pipe connector and copper seal (fell apart , discarded it) for the manifold connection to pipe and...

The Zenith carb for the model a is an updraft and sometime will leak a small amount when shut down. Every time I turn the key off I shut the shut valve off and when shutting down for the day I shut...

All parts interchange except the venturi, the double venturi can be purchased from any model a part supply, mikes has them.....

When drilling them out use just big enough bit to almost reach threads then pick out brass to threads.

Lots of heat then in cold water, if that does not work you have to drill them out like said in the above thread. Rebulit 100's of them.

Replaced original shut off valve with a repro about 10 yrs ago and now it is leaking. The repro looks same as original and how is it to rebuild? leak is very small.

I prefer the original type float valve that was used in the Zenith when new , you can still get them new. I seat them before install and blow air to clean any particles out.
