Smile Re: found an A for sale

I just found this post so I thought I would take a few minutes to reply and provide an update on this truck. I ended up purchasing the truck in December after some long process negotiations. As the...

Re: 31 CCPU splash shield replacement

It's a Budd cab wide body pickup with dual sidemounts. At this point I was only replacing the passenger side. The rust is minimal but there was collision damage from many years ago not fixed well...

Re: Running boards on 31 Budd cab

Well, I guess I'm good to go! The sap is about done and whatever we collect this weekend the grandkids are doing all the gathering and boiling (mostly because they like clowning around with the...

Running boards on 31 Budd cab

I'm in a bit of a quandry.. Being a little green to this and a little excited to get things together (once I'm done boiling sap) I ordered a new set of running boards for my truck. I just realized...

Re: Best way to enter and exit 31 CCPU

This one is a 31 Budd cab (indented firewall) with the wide bed. I did some more practicing and I think with the backing in and sliding toward the passenger side before tucking my feet into the...

Re: Best way to enter and exit 31 CCPU

Just came back in from tinkering and I'm relieved to see I'm not alone in this. I think the thinner seat back is an excellent idea. While I was in the garage I tried a few different approaches to...

TTT - one more try. My truck was originally a 6 wheel I guess and somewhere during its life it got whacked on the right fender and they just cut out the wheel well and support and patched the holes...

Re: New to the Forum and 1931 Closed cab pickup

Re: New to the Forum and 1931 Closed cab pickup

Re: New to the Forum and 1931 Closed cab pickup

Re: New to the Forum and 1931 Closed cab pickup
