I don't know about other years, but on my forty, the 1/4" square shaft on the handle was worn off on the corners where it entered the square hole in the inner mechanism. I built up the worn spots...

Treated deck wood is usually 1" thick, but it will shrink and twist somewhat when it drys.

'49? Merc. frame [pedals thru floor]. Front & rear susp., drive shaft, O.D. trans[has had water in it], rusted tight. Best offer over scrap price. You haul from north central OK.

y block & parts

292" out of early '60's pick up,cast iron automatic bell housing, torque converter, complete, will not turn over. I also have another complete 292" engine except block. located in north central OK....

Not to hijack this thread, but when my wife bought her new 2015 Honda Crosstour , the window sticker said, 70% parts from North America, assembled in Ohio, engine made in USA. Other 30% parts??

Why not rework bracket on original filter and mount on firewall. May not look as "cool", but should be easy to do.

I will send four two bolt "crab" cores, some may not have points, for a chevy dist. converted to a Merc. style [long shaft for lower bushing]. Will try to send Monday if that is alright.
