I bought a used repop Zenith carb a few years ago for -$100-. The seller said it had problems with it. I've not had any problems with it and in fact it is on my car now.:p

Thumbs up Re: B Carb and B Distributor

I believe Mac's is selling "B" points and condensers now. Also, don't forget the "B" dizzy uses slightly longer bronze spark plug leads. I finally put a "B" dizzy on my '31 roadster and it is...

Thumbs up Re: Killin time with Covid 19 and JC Whitney

Back in the late 60's, I was driving an original (except paint/tires) '29 Chevy 2-dr coach. My dad and I bought a few items for the Chevy from JC Whitney because that was all they had.:( I remember...

Thumbs up Re: "Sure-Stop" front brake equalizer

I had a '30 town sedan back in the early 80's with a set of the "Sure-Stop" equalizers. Never had a brake problem and for somebody to have a set lock up by over extending...:(. The brake shoes...

Re: What do you carry with you?

History,

It is a blast to shoot, but can be expensive unless you do your own reloading.

Recoil is not bad, but the barrel climbing while shooting full auto can get out of hand. Short...

I haven't carried my Model1928 Thompson (full auto/legal) with me yet..... But "back in the day", depending on your "business", it might have been
a necessary part of the tool kit.;)

The "A" sounds like a car that tours and for many miles. I would like to do some Model-A touring before I get to old. The 12 volt Alternator and over drive would be must haves for the car. ...

Re: What is the hardest Model A accessory to find

This is the front of my '31 roadster. The 1931 "vanity" plate was an actual Florida DMV offering. The stone shield is an original Globe (Cleveland, Ohio)
one from back in the day.;)

Thumbs up Re: Which Model A for a coast to coast trip?

I'd use a '30-'31 tudor sedan. Roll-up windows, a fair amount of space to carry things, locking doors, etc. Taller people can modify the front seat support brackets for more leg room. And, most...

Chuck, I believe those all are standard 19" Model-A wire wheels. The three large hub caps are aftermarket accessory hubcaps of the period.;)
