BTW, I've hunted all over for new outside door handles and everyone is out of stock with no ETA known. Appears they are made in...

bill3337: I don't think the shaft is twisted. Actually not...

Re: '37 Ford windshield crank

Thanks all for your help and the photos were very helpful!
I stopped by ACE and finally used an e-clip.
The reason was the c-clip didn't seem to have enough surface to hold the handle on and I...

1937 Ford door window felt

Are window "felt" and "anti-rattler" the same thing? I'll use "felt" for the purpose of explaining this post.

I need to install the interior side of the window felt for the glass on both doors...

Re: '37 Ford door glass question

TonyM - Thanks for the feedback. Owners manual is on order. I was wondering if the glass is supposed to be able to slide back-and-forth, where should it normally be positioned when the glass is in...

I replaced the passenger door glass this week and noticed that if I place my hands on either side of the glass I can slide it front and back about 1-3/4".
The driver side glass does the same thing....

swoopNZ,

Did you ever find the original side trim? I purchased the complete set of trim and the sides did not fit at all. Cannot be rebent because of the channel shape of the parts. Actually...

Re: 1937 Ford Headlight removal/alignment

Guys,
Thanks for your help. I managed to pop them off today but it was a little scary worried about ruining the glass or the bezel. My wife held on to the bezel to make sure it didn;t get away.
