hank crank starting rod problem

I attempted to insert my hand cranking rod into the engine and it stops 1 inch from the engine fitting. I suspect that the shaft either has a few high spots or is ever so slightly warped. Yet I...

Would a Wack with a rubber hammer loosen the Bendix and manually cranking the engine...

It's been a while since I looked at the electrical system. I don't remember seeing a fuse?

Re: replacing starter switch on 1933 ford model b

Either my NOS switch is bad or I messed up up in installing. The right side just has one wire from the battery and the left side has 3 wires? It is getting harder to bend down to do the work. I took...

Re: replacing starter switch on 1933 ford model b

replacing starter switch on 1933 ford model b

My starter switch busted and I am attempting to replace it. I disconnected the battery but see sparks when I try to disconnect the electrical leads from the old switch. Is this from the coil/solenoid?

When I first bought my car, people on this forum told me not to run it but take the engine all apart first to inspect it.
It will not post anymore on here.
I just tried to tell of a...

Re: 1932 ford b model roadster original??

Agree!
The 4 cylinder model ford is a wonderful engine. you easily go 60. And 45 is fast enough for these 90 year old cars.

I would stay with the original engine. To change to a v8 you will need different drive shafts and torque tubes to say the least.. Several other things must be modified to.
And in the end you will...
