On another note but related Coupe as in Coop? Or Coupe' as in Coopay? Always coop to me like chicken coop but my English teacher 56 years ago said Ward Cleaver was correct Coopay.

Much ado about nothing on my part last couple weeks.I sent the pressure plat back to Fort Wayne and they would not readjust or set to where I wanted it to be ,sent back at my cost shipping.

The first dimension I took note of was in Les Andrew book,he states the 5/8" or .625 dimension of finger to pressure plate collar.

Brattons sells two different types so I don't raelly care about which bead goes where except for the panels strength.Which is the best one too order since they probably are made by different vendors?...

I finally got them installed. Ended up removing height on sanding belt to almost 1/4" thickness.Seems a lot but that is what the originals were and they were the original ones that crumbled upon...

I have a Whitney on my '37 Ford and trouble free for over 10 years. On mine it is 6 volt and I think it is a Kawasaki alternator inside an aluminum tube.Looks original works great.

I did have the flywheel resurfaced and they refaced the mounting surface also to maintain the 1 1/8" depth. I sent a NOS Genuine Ford to Fort Wayne that was .340 thick which is what they said they...

Yes,they have set up literally 1000's of them and no one has ever questioned this same dimension,very frustrating.I have searched and found post from 2012 that same problem and answer from fort...
