What years are these hydraulic backing plates???

Or is this site too early for a hydraulic brake question?
A local special interest car business just acquired a nice Model A that has these brakes adapted to it. My expertise in antique Fords stops...

I agree with Robert/Texas: black. Black has its own special charm, as long as the wheels are kept clean and you have the authentic plated valve stem hardware. I would imagine the majority of Model T...
