Re: 1932 sport coupe
Don’t know for sure but those may be fabricated by Trautwein. Trautwein makes a quality frame but there may be issues with rust starting from the inside. Apparently that is caused by acid not being...

Re: spindles
As rich b said, yes they can be used on a Model A axle, but be advised that the ‘37-‘41’s (also known as round backs) use a king pin 5 1/2” long and the ‘42-‘48 spindles (square back) take a 6” long...

Re: Different Key ways??
Would you check your pitman arm for me? There will be a letter forged on it, an A denotes a Passenger Car pitman and a B would be for a Commercial Car with its shorter length cowl. To correct for the...

Re: Mallory sbc to 8BA 4 lobe cam issues

Re: Mallory sbc to 8BA 4 lobe cam issues

Re: Check out this period foto 32 Phaeton
Very Tangled is correct, Union Oil Company staged the photo and it was used in an ad promoting their Motoreze oil. The same photo appeared in Ford Life magazine, May-June, 1974 slightly cropped and...

Re: Rockwell of Ford head stud nuts
When I worked at EMD, GM’s former locomotive division, a friend gave me a Lufkin divider that was a bit rusty. I took it to the plating department and they gave it a bath in something and it looked...

I couldn’t have said it better Ron Pilger. You assessment is right on, but too many find it easier to beef about not getting a part when they want it. Tooling up for something and then having it...

Junior was a lot of things, but I seriously doubt he was involved with meth. Is there proof, or at least a link to this insinuation?

Re: Ebay sales tax in place
Early on in this thread Phil Swanson made it clear that this is not something cooked up by a state or eBay. It came about as a result of a suit brought by retailers trying to level the playing field...

Re: Ebay sales tax in place
If your state charges sales tax then do your homework, see if your place of residence charges an additional amount.
