Re: Stainless steel '36 sedan
I saw one of the missing (Cleveland) cars over 50 years ago when I worked at a Sunoco station on the far east side of Cleveland. It was really bright, but not polished like that one. It drove by the...

Re: 55 Ford car vent window
I have done this with 56 vents. Liberal amount of WD40 (softens up glass tape) will allow you to wiggle the glass out, spray it on new tape to install. WD 40 will evaporate and glass will be tightly...

Re: I test drove the 32 today Not good
I agree with Gary, had that problem on my roadster going over tar strips that were slightly at angles. Adjusted the toe-in, no more shimmy. Paul Selfe.

Re: tool to remove a pipe plug?
I have a tool about 15 in. long with a 3/8 sq. hole on one end and a 1/2 in. sq. hole on the other. Very sturdy, it belonged to my father who was an old time Ford mechanic. I believe it was used for...

Re: Halogen bulbs
I installed 12V. Halogens on my 39 std. with new reflectors, relays and clear lenses. When I bought them I was advised to use the clear lenses, as the halogen bulbs don't do well with faceted lenses....

Re: 8ba flywheel and clutch question
Sounds like you may have a flywheel drilled for a Borg & Beck (Mercury style) pressure plate. A very suitable alternative , and I would think available through Napa etc.. Paul Selfe.
