look at the door stops arms. The cup seems to be slightly deformed and broken and may have fallen off of the arms that stop the doors from opening too much.

If you can pull the torque tube rearward you can fix a C-clamp on the outside of the drive shaft and use it as a handle to pull the shaft rearward until it is clear of the U-joint.

For the 37-41 85HP oil pump there is no gasket between the bottom cover for the gears and the pump body. Adding one in this location will decrease oil pressure.

The speedometer turtle is usually considered the device mounted on the torque tube. The speedometer cable attaches to it at the torque tube end and is considered a turtle due to it's unique shape....
