Hi Paul, I had the same situation and bought a leather wrap for the steering wheel, not only cured that problem but it is much more comfortable in warmer weather, looks good and was any easy install....

Yes, I have the same issues with my front seats, just not very comfortable on any longer drives. I hate the thought of putting in modern seats so I'm going to explore my options on having them redone...
