Re: Engine Rebuilder
I have no experience with repairs, but have met both Joe Bell and Kevin Prus.
Both are straight up knowledgeable folks and I would be confident in either.
Interesting fact...
I have THE Jensen...

Re: Old A owner with a T question...
The Model T transmission pan is part of the engine pan.
The flywheel is an integral part of the oiling system. Best not to muss with Henry's masterpiece there. :D
Ruckstell or an auxiliary...

Re: 1914 Gas Tank Evaporation
I have been shutting the fuel off at the sediment bowl.
(24 touring car) If not, I noticed the same thing, 1/4 tank when parked, no spots or stains on the floor, no gas smell (and I looked in on it...

Re: 37 year old wanting to buy a Model T!
Yes 6'6". I have a couple inches to spare.
I would suggest, if you haven't driven a T, find someone local that will let you drive one beforehand. At least then, when you look at one, you'll have a...

Re: 37 year old wanting to buy a Model T!
The windshield doesn't fold back on 22-27, 21 and prior only.
I will have to check, but I believe my door is 6.5' and my 24 fits topless.
It takes up a lot less space than my 73 Torino.
Are you...

But if you notice my pics, the left garage door is not lit up much at all.
I did run the focus adjustment all the way in (screws...

Re: Ruckstall
Depends on the gear ratio, 3:1 is more desirable IMO.
I'd put it at $600-$800...;)

LEDlight.com, I got 2-1158 style for the H/L and 2-1156 with a lower CP for the tail and brake lights...$25 !!

After 1/2 mile or so, let it...

Re: Model T ability by era question
A Model T of any year is pretty much the same as for power and general driveability, the 26-27 have larger rear drums and lined shoes, where early models do not...foot brake only, on a drum inside...
