pressed in grease fittings
hey guys (and gals) - any suggestions on how to extract some very old and rusted in grease fittings on my '30? I have about five that appear to be older than me and about as grumpy.....!!! Dennis

Thanks all for the great advice. Still not sure what I will do, as I remember years ago rebuilding generators on old cars that I owned and remembering how great it was once the alternator came...

6 volt alternator positive ground as an alt?
I am either going to rebuild my 1930 generator or buy a 6v alternator as a replacement. Not intending to show the car other than in parades. Any thoughts out there about how well they work or has...

Gents - new to my 1930 Model A Roadster and also new to the off frame restoration that I am doing. One quick question on the gear lube, is it the same 600W lube that is used in the rear axle? Dennis
