Boy am I glad the guy never raced at Bonneville with so much horsepower and RPM's from that 239 cube flathead the records would be REALLY high and no one would be able to touch them. LMAO

The stuff is actually a lot better than anything else I have used. Its expensive but when I use it its for some extremely demanding application. Example I use no gaskets on some of my race engines...

The Accel distributer is by far the best type to convert for the flathead. And as Deuce5window wrote they are plentiful and cheap to buy. The many I have converted for others have all performed...

Just measured my original Henry Ford body this is what I get 50-5/16. I will tell you my body lines and door gaps are spot on.

As 51 Merc noted check the cam to cover end play. If its excessive that would explain why someone drilled that hole which could be used to hold some type of thrust limiting device.
