Re: Removing fuse holder
Very similar to how I did it. Besides the engine looking original, the fuse is out of the elements.

Re: Manifold Heater Mount
Yes my manifold is stock. The two halves of the heater fit around the manifold and are held together with two bolts.

Re: Check your fan blades
Werner,
You need to remove the water pump and fan from the engine. Sit down, and place the fan blades on your thighs with the water pump hanging down. Screw on the tool and give it a few sharp...

Re: Slow leak
I accidentally pinched a new tube while trying to install it. I took it to an old time tire place to get it patched. While the guy was working on it, I mentioned, as a kid I remembered patches being...

Re: Engine and frame numbers
Dean, I think you are not understanding the original engine was replaced with another engine. That's why there are two sets of numbers on the replacement engine.

I believe the cam gear is...

Re: Dad's Birthday
My Dad bought a 1930 Model A coupe used, in 1933. He and his cousin drove it from Columbus, OH to the Chicago Worlds Fair in 1934. He passed away in 2007, before I got my 1930 coupe. I'd love to ask...

Re: 1931 Instrument panel light
This doesn't answer your question, but it will at least bring the question back to the top.
If you are running 6 volts and would like a less bright and hot instrument panel light, try a 12 volt...

I tried 2 different 3 pronged flashers. Maybe not enough tries. But even though the light was out, when the beeper was added, it showed some current was still sneaking thru, even though not enough to...
