Will rings stay seated if piston removed

I would like to remove a piston and inspect the rings. If rings are OK, can I put the piston back in, even if the rings turn a bit, and the rings will still be seated.

There are several reputable people out there that sell cars on consignment. When you purchase a car from one of these guys and use a bank transfer, is it normal practice to wire the consignment guy...

35/36 running board molding

How wide is the stainless steel moulding that is attached to the bottom of the 35/36 car running boards. Is it 1/1/4" or 1 3/4" thanks

How much torque on a spindle nut

How much torque do you put on a front bearing spindle nut. I know you tighten it down till all the grease is out than back off to the next notch on the nut. But what if that next notch is to tight.

Thanks, I used the spin the wheel method and it worked fine. Instead of chalk, I put masking tape around the OD of the tire and mark on it with a fine point pen.

Can paint be shipped

I would like to send a gallon of car paint to a friend but was told by fellow car members you cannot ship paint. Has anybody had any experience in shipping paint? I called UPS and FedEx but can not...

I do not believe it. Your temp gauge must be broken. No flathead runs that cool in the conditions you described.

Quite ride has them in ABS and cost 225.00. I've never used one of their's but reading their website, they talk like they know what they are doing.

What year is a 3.17 diameter piston for

I have a set of std. size pistons, aluminum, dome top that are 3.17 diameter. They are 4 ring. Can anyone tell me what year these pistons will fit. thanks
