I found the leak but I still do not know why it leaks.

I was very care full to follow all the information I could find on installing the pan and there are no leaks in the...

I just installed a new pan gasket set on my 1946, being very carefull to follow all instructions and info from the forum.

When I started the engine and checked everything, there were no leaks.

All the information I have been finding states W600 oil!

Can this be correct?

I would think that 600 weight would be like tar.

What should the correct oil weight be?

I need a few parts for my 1946 mercury, a splash apron that fits between the front gravel guard and the radiator and a set of lower shock mounts from a 1947 / 1948 ford passenger car.
