Never, I mean Never drill out the brass plugs on a Zenith Carburetor. Follow Tom Endys articles which are detailed and correct and blow air through the passages after and you will be in great shape.

Hey Ron, I've run 3:54 in our 31 S/W Town Sedan with a B motor for 45 years, it's run great but will be putting in a Mitchell and probably go back to 3:78 gears.

Al, I'm glad you brought this up, my 31 CCPU has the same bottom frame and they put two big bolts fastened to the bottom seat spring with big washers. The bolts don't fit in that little bracket...
