I measured some u-joints I have and all the 6x10's were 4 5/8" and the 6x6's
were 4 1/4".

If you are using a Model A 3-speed trans wouldn't that be just a standard Ford ujoint
B-7090 (was A-7090) 1928-48.

I think you need to turn it clockwise to remove the backlash from the shafts and gears.

I had a flex line between the fuel pump and metal line come apart inside one time and you could blow back to the tank but not the other way.
