6 volt to 12v help

Picked up a period correct (new) tach for the 40. Car is 6v pos ground.


What have others done (a link to part would be nice) to "make" 12 volts negative??



Any input would be appreciated....

On my newly acquired 40 w/59AB engine, when looking at it and warm it dropped water temp 30* from top of rad to bottom. Had to replace pone water pump (one more to do), refilled with a/freeze and...

It will move some CCW, normal, Try putting some Marvel Mystery Oil or ATF in the gas and run it. For you probably 6 ozs. Won't hurt anything.

Re: 1929 Tudor Door hinge pin replacement

Try drilling it out. Grind the top of the pin off and drill from the top, small drill bit to start then larger. Protect the painted surfaces. JMO
