Third vote for The Chrome Shop! Haven't used them in years but when I dropped off some items to be done it was very early in the morning and was afforded a peak into the buffing and polishing area....

As far as I know it’s correct, my 1/2 ton has been part of my family since 1947 when my grandfather got her. Look for literature to see what other things might be different and please if possible...

From my limited knowledge do not use that grease fitting, think it was later phased out. Others will surely chime in soon.

It's 18-5031648 per Ford serial number lists. The 18 means equipped with an 85 h.p. V-8 engine. The serial number should be on the frame rail near the steering box and on the transmission as well....
