28-29 PU rear window molding

What does it consist of? The 32 BB truck I have has some kind of a canister that has been installed in the main brake rod. I wonder if my truck had some kind of assist?

28-29 Rim 22"
SOLD Nice 22" rim for a '28 or '29. I spun it and it seems pretty straight. The bead area looks good and there isn't any rust out. I didn't notice any bent spokes.
