Thanks so far. Interesting about the seal stuff. I have "Evans" waterless in the coolant system so I don't know if that would effect the cooling properties but I can check if need be.

im using the one that came with wiring harness that tyree harris made or the company that make factory correct wiring harnesses. is there a starter solenoid and where does yellow horn wire go to?

Thanks all. The seal is a one piece non bonded deal so you have to cut corners and make it all work. It wont fit in the cowl frame and it won't sit around the windshield frame. I just don't want to...
