I use napaonline and spend a little time searching for brake hoses and use their part numbers to figure out what number is the length. Keep looking until I find one that works. NAPAonline has helped...

If you have a gap between the wishbone mount to the axle, it can be shimmed.

Check that the fuel cell is vented. Loosen gas cap and run the engine.

Unless you have many to do, I use an old pair (Chinese made) of aviation snips and do it by eye. The uneven edge actually helps for some reason.

I'm a charter member of the club. Got out a bunch of years ago when it turned into more of a money making thing than an interest in cars. It is a nice place for a car show.

If you're talking about sewing up a new interior, use the original seat covers by cutting the seams and using the various pieces as patterns. If not possible, you would have to pattern right off of...

Spin the wheel in the direction the nut tightens. Tighten the nut until the wheel stops. Back off for cotter pin insertion. Done.

I would talk to the guy that did the work and ask. I had a tank sealed where they cut open the top and clean it then coat it with something. Has worked good for many years.
