Re: Help with a family issue

Charlie, if she wanted to ride in it, she would. Don't buy into her power trip ruse, or she'll then demand seat belts and next it would be ABS disc brakes. I know you're not a newly wed, you know the...

Re: 37 temperature dash unit

You have air bubbles in the line which must find their way to the bulb. I've done the heat/cool method; hanging bulb up with a vibrator attached at the bottom, and as mentioned above, fastening the...

Re: Late 1939 deluxe headlights...sealed beam

I bet that hot rodder was pretty proud of his conversion right up till he put the '39 lens back on!

Re: tesla Truck

If you remember, the truck and SUV popularity got its major boost back in the 70's ? 80's ? when they were exempted out of the SMOG certs of the day, while hitting passenger cars with heavier...

Re: FORD vs FERRARI

Well, we all have our strengths and weaknesses, and I suppose racing men do have large egos, but damn, man, I'm impressed with the ego of someone with the balls to call out this group as being "so...

Re: 41 Ford engine help

You didn't say, but I assume the carburetor is a 94. Did you check the power valve? As the previous owner had fuel issues, he may have disabled the power valve, which would explain the starving...

Re: Gearbox Question 1939 / 1940

I'm sure you meant to say 91A, and no part number, just the large 91A cast into the bottom of the large fork.

Re: Mart's 41 pickup: Broken axle investigation. VIDEO

Mart, The dolt that had welded that axle should be shot! Let's see the other end, to see the apparent mushroom that prevented it's sliding all the way out in the previous video?

Re: Unrelated thought while working on my Car

I gave her a kiss and asked her if she loved me more now.

Re: 1936 Ford flathead - is a fuel additive required

I have several comments for you, take it or leave it:

87 is fine, you got that right.

V8coopman has it, but for the first 2 tasks:

1 - Put the car up on sturdy jack stands
2 - Drain the transmission fluid

Re: 1936 Ford Pickup - Electric Radiator Fan

Re: need your help

That's about as pretty a '39 as I've ever seen. Lucky guy!
What's with the extra long license plate numbers that don't match each other?
