F-1 steering box is too big and ugly ! also too heavy.
I used GM pump and GM box (dialph) works great and looks good ...
I made a adapter with a scrap piece of 1/2 plate. ripper57

I believe it's a cast iron from a dump truck. It's similar to the 49-50 mercury but the merc. is steel. Then trans. bolts on but it takes a early ford (1937 to 1948) or merc.

Question y-block drain plug

on the righr side(passerger) just below the front freeze plug on a 292 engine there is a drain plug ? When I removed it to install a second temp.
gauge sending unit nothing came out ! No water, no...

I used a T-5 from a mustang V-6 but put the S-10 tailshaft to move the floor shift forward away from the seat. Been driving it over a year and love it ! (1954 Sunliner)
