Interesting side window treatment. Looks almost factory in the photos. Wonder how they trimmed the inside and if they leak?

Probably radiused the rear openings because it was such a hassle to change a rear tire with the stock opening.:cool:

If it would have been a Studebaker instead of a Ford that photo could have been from Grandparents in Nanticoke, PA back in the day. Pops was a Stude guy right till the end. Great photo. Thanks for...

Something to do with exhaust fumes getting sucked in the rear window on the wagons if the exhaust exited out the rear instead of the side. From what I've been told.

I believe this is HRP's '54. If it is then it has a small block Ford and a T-5.

Just closed the deal on this '54 Ranch Wagon. Bringing it home tomorrow to be an "older brother" to my '39 P/U. It has a 239 Y block and 3 speed manual. Thinking of a 302 with either a T5 or an AOD...
