I got my pumps out ok thanks for your help everyone. I used the phone book and 2x4. Vlc thanks for reminding me about that bolt in side the bottom inlet.

Hi Vic, thanks for the reply I was not sure if I could use the oil pan. Thats the way we did it back when, but I did many things the wrong way.

water pumps

Hi Fordbarn, I am removing my water pumps to have them modified by Skip,
the pumps are also the front motor mounts. What is the best way to support the motor while the pumps are out? thanks
