Interesting thread. Would it make any difference if you had a multi disc clutch. The body is not off but the fuel tank is. My concern is lining up the clutch.

Getting to original paint

My 28 Tudor was painted with a brush at some point. Has anyone tried to remove paint like this to get to the original paint. It appears not to have any rust, and I would like to go to the original...

My multi disc is the same way throw out bearing is mounted to the clutch pack. Personally I wouldn't drill it. It's only original once

Thanks Ken I had read the service bulletin. It appears there never was any bushings on the frame bracket for the cross shafts. I don't see hoe that could work very well. I will call Berts to see if...

In the red book it states to cut a 8" strip and glue it to the top leave of the front springs and coat the top with grease. It appears to me in West Texas that grease is just going to collect sand. ...

The red book says you put 8 inches of welding glued to the spring and greased on top. It wasn't on my springs. What can I use and does everyone do this.
