We used to put Lye and Aluminum Foil in a Glass container(hydrogen) and catch the fumes in a balloon. Tape a fire cracker to the balloon and it makes a Big Bang. We quit after a few short fuse...

I had a tire blow out at 75 mph on a 63 Buick 225 that I bought. the car was garage kept but I Never checked the date on the tires,they were 12 years old, fortunately the only problem was the Old Guy...

Wal-Mart has a good charger. 6 and 12 volt with a battery maintainer and will charge Optimo batteries, Was originally a Shumacher brand but now has a Wal-mart label.

You can get a decent Digital Volt Meter from E-Bay for around $3. It only has one setting so you cant make a mistake. I use it as a Volt meter to check the charging system also.
