Re: '28 sport coupe, would you or not?

Size wise the A should be bigger, more power etc. As long as the top is good you will be good and remember if you are caught in the rain...RainX is your best friend.

Re: Another new Model A owner.

Welcome to the Barn. It looks like you have a 28/29 water neck instead of a 30/31. Maybe the picture is off a bit and it is no big deal just making sure the upper radiator hose is long enough.

Re: luggage rack extention

I have the 3/8th thick version. If you can make thicker ones that is better as you want them as thick as possible and preferably about 2" longer as I have to take everything off to get to the spare...

Re: Newbie '29 Speedster project, the good the bad and even the ugly (maybe)

The nice thing about Model a's is almost all of the parts can be bought new. That being said most if not all of the parts can be rebuilt and will be better than the new parts. Hershey is in your neck...

Re: Model A Brake Lights

Madder a ‘third’ brake light up on top of my spare tire. Since people today are conditioned to look for that light and not so much for the Bic light of a twilight we have. This way when I hit the...

Re: Standard Interior in a 30 Town Sedan?

It is possible the owner converted a standard into townsedan. What Y said is correct. The main thing is the wood if you are not familiar with these cars. There is a lot of wood in them. I am not sure...

One place I have heard of that may rearch shoes is a big rig shop. I think they still do that sort of stuff.

Re: Where and how to mount disconnect switch in Tudor without new holes in metal.

I just disconnect the battery. I modified the new floor boards so I have an extra large hole, just pop it up and loosen the nut and off the cable comes.

Re: 1931 Coupe Banger Project

Question Bob. How do you plan to relocate the water in let? To me that would require adding cast iron to the block back there.

Re: Should I pass on this A? Or would I miss out on something?

Here is my 2 cents worth. The wood is critical for this car the door comments are correct, the interior is not that big of a deal as long as mice have not gotten to it. IF they have then you will...

Terry, yep that is what the 35k was for. I figure I go in that far to replace the wood I might as well keep going. This why I will have to find a way to glue them back in as a temp fix. I will just...

Re: fordoor rain gutter help

Terry don't think I haven't though of that. I unfortunately, don't have 35K or the space for it. So I am stuck doing temp repairs until I can do a full resto on her.
