Re: Still wont start

Might try removing all plugs and putting a squirt or 2 of oil in each cyl, replace the plugs and give it a taste of gas down the carb, good charged battery, it should go.

Re: 56 F-100 trans questions

If this is something you just bought, and it has the small block V8, could be somebody put an inline 240 or 300 flywheel on it.

Mabey ford thought it made the block stronger using smaller lifter holes, lots of tractor engines through the 60's used the same type lifter.

Re: Help Please - Engine Mounts for 1958 Ford Ranch Wagon 351W Conversion

Small block truck mounts would have the stud to fit the slot in the mount pad, might not be in the proper place thought, a little fabrication might be needed.

Re: Firing order 91 F150?

Unless its listed as an HO, its I 5 4 2 6 3 7 8, it should have told with the cam which order to use, if you still have your old cam, you can compare lobes.

Re: vibration in my car

U joints don't have to have loosness to vibrate, they can become dry and stuck and don't flex, one needs to remove the driveshaft and make sure each joint moves freely in both directions.

It could be the bushing in the rear of the tail shaft housing, but the driveshaft needs to be pulled to see.
