Re: Front Tool Box

Hallo,
I already have a square tool box. On the right side on the step board.

But for the front I would like to have such a very nice oval box. It integrates so beautifully that it looks like...

Re: Front Tool Box

Hallo at all.

Yes Jack, just like the picture of Mr. Blockhead, that's the round box shape that I want for my car's year of construction 1928.

I also asked Mike's company. There is no...

Front Tool Box

Hello to each other.

In an other topic post I have first seen that there is a front toolbox for the A.

I like it so much that I immediately tried to order one. But my dealers MAC's, Bratton's...

Re: my choke/carb adjustment quit working

Good morning, Thom,
it's good to have the needle grinded into your seat a little bit. I did that with fine grinding paste for engine valves. The valve seat becomes slightly wider. As a result, the...

Re: No comment

Personally, I see something terrible. Such a 90 year old vehicle does not deserve to be vilified. It is better to get the old patina! This is often more difficult than spraying colorful new paint.

Re: I need help to overhaul 7-tooth steering

Thank you for the many hints!

I know the rebuilt with eccentric brass bearing. But the conversion to eccentric bearings is not possible for my self. But to make that from a foreign company is too...

Re: I need help to overhaul 7-tooth steering

Good evening all together.

Hallo Russ. I equalized the splines of teeth a bit. The old worm glides easily, the new worm is probably only by vigorous pressing on the splined shaft. Question: Does...

Help to overhaul 7-tooth steering.

I have some questions about the renovation of the steering gear.

1) Is it normal that the splines of the steering wheel shaft show such extreme...

Re: update on getting dizzy after being under the A.

Hallo Dave,
I do not understand the sentence: 'Breaking out the water'.
That means perhaps 'tears'?

Re: update on getting dizzy after being under the A.

This is similar with me. It is named 'storage fraud' (?) / 'positional vertigo'?. These are wrongly sorted tiny crystal stones in the ear.

On the other hand, exercises help to tilt the upper body...

Re: What have you found working on your A?

Hallo,
when I got my roadster from California, I was the first to do all tin interiors wax sealing. Back at the bottom of the wheelhouse, I found a desert mouse that probably once had red fur.

Re: What have you found working on your A?

I had to have the Roadster hood fix the rear wood bow by a upholsterer master. He found this ticket rolled up inside the cloth rag.

Re: ROTELLA 15W 40 Oil

I would like to clarify something else:

No A-motor will be damaged if it is driven with "Rotella" for diesel engines. Everyday wear is no different.

But with this oil, more will deposit...

Re: ROTELLA 15W 40 Oil

I have a general note about engine oils.

I do not know how strictly that is regulated in the USA. But in Germany environmental protection has a very high say in the oil mixtures. For example,...

Re: ROTELLA 15W 40 Oil

Hallo!
"Rotella" oils are some of the few engine oils Shell manufactures specifically for diesel fuels. Unlike the same 15W/40 shell oil for gasoline engines, Rotella blends contain an increased...

Re: Engine Oil Analysis

I have taken many measurements to know the engine.

Without a hose thermostat, the engine water needs more than 10 miles of speedy driving until it reaches 70 ° C into the cylinder head.

With...

Placing antique fire distinguisher housing

Hello and good afternoon together.
I have a beautifully polished ancient fire distinguisher.
Does anyone have old photos on which a roadster with placed distinguisher can be seen?
