Re: Looking for info on 35-36 Cabriolet Tops

I suppose its also worth noting that my top kit is thrown together with what I believe to be the complete interior kit for the car, that is what is likely creating the confusion with what is included...

Re: Looking for info on 35-36 Cabriolet Tops

Thanks for the reply! Your top looks great! You had to order the tack strip separate from the top kit? My kit is very old, probably from the 1980s? and its a non zipper rear window kit. I have looked...

Now that I have my cabriolet up and running I am quickly realizing that I need to put the top on it. I have what I believe to be a complete Lebarron Bonney top for it, and fortunately I found the...

Re: And Just Like That...A 36 Cabriolet Falls Into My Lap...

2 cylinder JD's will always be my favorite. Learned basically all I know from working on them with my dad!

Good eye! Yep it has a 35 on the drivers side, that was pointed out a couple times....

Re: And Just Like That...A 36 Cabriolet Falls Into My Lap...

The current plan is to rebuild the 59ab. It seems like a great motor, so unless there are some unforeseen issues with it, it will be staying.

Cool, I didn't even think of that! I'll have to...

And Just Like That...A 36 Cabriolet Falls Into My Lap...

Well, not exactly. But I still haven't really come to terms with being able to own such a car. I've always had a thing for them, but always passed it off as more of a "when I hit the lotto" pipe...

Re: My ship came in

You got a 23 1/2 foot seabox full of phaeton and roadster stuff. I wouldn't consider that too bad haha. Sure wish I had roadster doors laying around like that, my 29 could use a drivers one

Re: 1934 5 Window Coupe find

I've had that topper for quite awhile. Being as we are from the Poconos, it seems fitting. I've also never seen another one.

Re: Sandblasting Rims Questions

I've sandblasted for years with regular sand. I get it in hundred pound bags at a local home improvement store. I blast with a home made blaster running about 90 psi. I can post a pic if you'd like....

Re: crooked pickup- need help

If you had the springs apart you may just need to have them settle again. My grandfathers' coupe always leans towards the passengers side so he just tells everyone at shows the previous owner had a...

Re: How Do U Store/Find

We have no zoning laws in my town so I store my old parts in junk cars. It works out nice, keeps the stuff dry, and if someone comes and asks me for something I just tell them what car to dig...

Re: My Roadster's looking a little weak, can anyone help me out?

Re: My Roadster's looking a little weak, can anyone help me out?

Re: My Roadster's looking a little weak, can anyone help me out?

I will be using the Z'd frame because it is the original frame for my car. I must not understand how the quarter panels mount because I had thought they would still work seeing as the sub frame is...
