I have taken powder coating off of several parts. I used "aircraft stripper",after applying the stripper wrap it with plastic wrap. It may take a little while, but it will come off.

Dale, the torque tube is 53 7/16" O. A., the drive shaft is 51 9/16" O. A. It's my understanding that tha late '32 rear axle and the '33 & '34 v-8 rear axles share these dimensions.
