Your wire from the coil should be solid wire not the carbon centered wire used to day it may spark but not good enough. Gord. B by the Bay

The route with the least problems will be cross from Detroit Mich drive along the Blue water Highway (just a nice country drive in Canada for i hour then return back to the USA from Sarnia to Port...

On the tranny I disliked to have to crawl under the car to check the level, I cut a 3" square hole in the floor board just above the plug wich is 3/4" pipe thread remove the plug and screw in a 3/4...

I have had similiar damage and when the head was removed we found no clipring that holds the wrist pin was missing on the one end, when pan was removed the remains of the clipring was yet to be...

I have used the float from a Tillitson X carb works well and put a bend in the wire to keep float of the bottom of the tank mine was installed about 20 years ago no problem yet Grod B by the Bay

Loosen off the clamp a bit drill an 1/8 hole between the clamp and the post then thread in a No. 8 x 1/2" wood screw flush , then tighten the clamp and it will be tight, easier to remove next time...
