Wire wheels were first offered by Ford during 1925 on the new 1926 models.
They were welded spoke wire wheels similar to Model A Ford.
The wheels in your picture are aftermarket and probably later...

It is the Type A, first of 3 basic designs.
Type B has 2 intake ports in the side of the head and 8 exhaust ports on the top( one for each exhaust valve).
Type C featured 4 intake ports on the side...
