Regulators are cheap. POS and NEG ground both use the same regulator. Only the wiring and rectifier are different

That is a Delco 10SI alternator. You will need to change the rectifier to a positive ground unit and the way it is wired.

I put the transmission on a roll around floor jack, no adapter needed, it was kind of balanced on the drain plug making it easy to adjust the tilt. Shoved it under the side of the A that was on jack...

Harbor Freight has a heavy wall heat shrink with an internal glue that melts and seals the joint. Marine heat shrink tubing. I use it on my airplane and Model A connections....
