Some vendors offer two oversize oil pump-distributor drive gears installed on the shaft. With one of these , all of the backlash can usually be removed .

A fan shroud won't likely help at speeds over 25 MPH . A fan shroud gets in the way of removing or replacing the water pump and fan .

The steering box doesn't need to be loosened or removed to remove the starter . You may need to remove the lower hose neck inlet on the drivers side of the block for access .

I had to use the red high temp silicone sealer to stop the leaks around the thermo quail radiator cap when accelerating . I prefer the look of the original radiator cap .

Be careful !!! One of the things that the quail or motor meter radiator caps are best at is ruining the upper neck of the radiator .

Several things can cause a shimmy or death wobble . The only thing that has ever caused shimmy on my model A's was improper toe in . The toe in should be set for 1/16 toe in at the front .
