You should put the body together on the sub frame and assemble as built by ford. I don't think you can restore it piece by piece. I wouldn't try. JMHO

I think you should have flush the transmission to get the thinner oil out. You can't get all of the thinner oil out by just draining it. Take the shifter off and flush with Kerosene. JMHO

Looks like the new aluminum hub has to much bearing surface and not enough belt surface. Un less you use a longer belt and a tensioner. JMHO

Is the shoe that is rubbing not pushed over the edge of the backing plate and sitting on the raised pad where it should be or riding on top of . Has some body welded that pad and made it to high ?
